Trisha has entered a different phase in her career. Moving away from regular heroine roles, she did a negative character in her recent venture ‘Kodi’.
And now, she is doing varied roles in her upcoming flicks. For ‘Garjanai’, the Tamil remake of Hindi hit ‘NH 10’, she is undergoing stunt training.
“Whatever you expect a hero to do in a film will be done by Trisha in this film,” says the film’s director Sundar Balu. In ‘1818’ based on Mumbai attacks, she is playing a hotel employee.
‘Garjanai’ will tell the story of a young couple whose road trip goes awry after an encounter with a group of violent criminals.
Part of the story is loosely adapted on 2007 Manoj-Babli honour killing case. The film’s title (‘NH 10’) refers to the 403 km long National Highway 10 in India.
