Rajini breaks silence on birthday
Though everyone- from politicos to film personalities to top cricketers to entrepreneurs to media to fans- showered him with wishes from morning, Superstar Rajinikanth maintained silence till the night of Tuesday, his birthday.
In fact, even his whereabouts were kept under wraps despite fans thronging his Poes Garden residence in large numbers to meet and greet the ‘thalaivar’.
Finally, on Tuesday night, the superstar appeared on Twitter and posted: “My heartfelt thanks to all my fans”, he said and added: “To all those and to my fans who greeted me through newspapers, posters, social media, telephone and in person, my heartfelt thanks.”
Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, TN deputy CM O Panneerselvam, DMK working president M K Stalin, MDMK chief Vaiko, BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan, TNCC chief S Thirunavukkarasar and others greeted Rajini.
