Amid much expectations, the pooja of Vijay’s 62nd film, to be directed by A R Murugadoss, happened on East Coast Road on the outskirts of Chennai on Friday.
“Regular shooting will commence in February as some pre-production works are on the verge of completion. Shooting will go on in full swing as it has been planned to release the flick for Deepavli,” sources said.
Confirming this, Murugadoss, who has joined hands with Vijay after ‘Thupakki’ and ‘Kaththi’, came out with a terse tweet: “#HappyDeepavali guys..💥💥.”
It may be recalled that Oscar-Grammy winner AR Rahman has started working on the songs much earlier. Cinematographer Girish Gangadharan who is popular in Mollywood thanks to ‘Kali’, ‘Angamaly Diaries’ and ‘Solo’, will crank the camera. Editing will be by Sreekar Prasad.
