Thursday (December 12) is the birthday of Rajinikanth, the superstar of Tamil cinema for more than four decades. His fans and members of Rajini Makkal Mandram have been making elaborate plans to celebrate the day.
They have organised events to carry out welfare measures including financial and other aids to the needy, blood donation camps etc. Theatres across Tamil Nadu will screen blockbuster movies of the ‘thalaivar’ like ‘Baadsha’, ‘Petta’, ‘Chandramukhi’ and ‘Kabali’ etc.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has asked his fans not to come to Chennai to meet him on his birthday, since he will not be in town. He said he would treat the audio launch of ‘Darbar’, which happened in the city on Saturday last, as his birthday celebrations by his fans.
In the meantime, the star cast of Rajinikanth’s film with director Siva has got stronger, with the inclusion of the likes of Meena and Khushbu. Already, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Suri are part of the movie produced by Sun Pictures. D Imman is scoring the music.
