Trisha whose last outing ‘Nayagi’ fared badly at the box office, might soon be seen in a sequel of a superhit film.
According to sources, talks are over with the ‘Ghilli’ actress to play the leading lady in the sequel of ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ and she has given nod for the project.
The first part that was directed by H Vinod, won critical and commercial acclaim in 2014, and starred cinematographer-actor Natarajan Subramaniam in the lead role.
The sequel, however is tipped to be made on a grander scale with actor Arvind Swamy being roped in.
“Trisha is most likely to get the role. It will have ample scope for her to perform”, it is said.
Vinod will be directing this one too, with actor-director Manobala once again the producer for this.
Meanwhile, Trisha is also filming for her upcoming film ‘Mohini’, helmed by Ramana Madhesh.
